Determined as I am to update this blog every day this year, I do so today under duress and doped up to the eyeballs on ibuprofen and lemsip. Afraid that I am not a well bunny today. Hoping that its not swine flu but thinking its more virus-ey than flu-ey. Hopefully, it will prove to be a 24-hour thing as I had big plans for this weekend, including walking part of the Sandstone Trail with the camera. Instead I have been in bed reading a Swedish crime novel, coughing and feeling very sorry for myself. So today’s blog is just about the picture, which hopefully you will like.
Taken on Thursday morning on my way to work (the same time as the image from Thursday) it’s another picture of the same stretch of Cheshire canal at sunrise; this time featuring the narrow boats that line both sides of the marina. Again, I like this picture and would file it under a better effort amongst those posted so far this year.
The way things are going it may well be that going forward the blog will either focus on the picture (if I consider it a good one) or the words (if I really want to write something and have to shoehorn a picture in somehow). Does that make sense? Yesterday’s blog contained some of the best words I have written, whilst the picture was fine as illustration but not great. Today, given my drugged-up state I am hoping that the strength of the picture will draw you away from the paucity of words.
Despite the illness, I hope to post something else tomorrow or die in the attempt…
